File Browser
One of the Big upgrades to Photoshop 7 is the new File Browser. Use this new feature to view images prior to opening in Photoshop. To use, follow steps below.

1.) Select File > Browse...(the browser window will appear showing contents of the selected folder.)

2.) Choose a folder or disk from the directory on the upper left or from the pull-down menu.

3.) Click a thumbnail to move it to the larger preview panel for viewing. You can expand or contract the preview area by dragging its top and bottom borders. The area below the preview displays information about the image.

4.) Simply double-click a thumbnail to open it.

Various other features:

Toggle Expanded View enlarges the window to show more thumbnails.

Sort By allows you to reorganize the images by different categories from the menu.

View By allows you to select the size and type of thumbnail displayed.

Rotate will rotate the selected image 90 degrees. Hold (Alt) to rotate counterclockwise.

Delete to delete material.
